Flıppıng the classroom

Recently I learned an innovative and useful method used in classrooms, which is flipped videos. It is, in short, a video that teaches vocabulary or grammar subjects. Students can watch the video and learn by themselves, later practice in the classroom.
About creating the video
After learning about the flipped videos we are required to create one. Our audience was young learners and we choose the 'my city' subject. For the video, we picked ten different places that take place in the town. The video contains many colorful images to address the young learners successfully also we narrated the video, ı choose and describe 5 words whereas my pair Berrak did the same too. The last and the hardest part was to synchronize our voice with the images. but by trying several times we were able to prepare a video. To create the video we used Canva, the website is pretty easy to use when someone has no idea about creating a video. Additionally ı used Kapwing to fix an audio problem.

About the method
If we are to create a flipped video for young learners there are many points to consider, for example, we had to speak slow and use simple and short sentences for ease of understanding. So it makes it harder to create a video but in the end, if the result is good, students benefit from it. They can watch it whenever they want till they understand.
