Language Awareness Task

Hello Everyone, in this post I would like to show you the material we designed with my pair, also explain data-driven learning, corpus, and language awareness tasks.

__________________________________________________________

With the data-driven learning method, the student leaves the passive role and starts to take an active role, and the students find the information themselves with the guidance of the teacher. To find this information, a database called the corpus can be used. Information is collected from many sources and uploaded to the corpus.

The last term I will explain briefly is language awareness tasks, with such tasks, students discover the target language on their own by examining and practicing example sentences.

And now I will talk about the language awareness task that I created with my pair, Berrak Kılıç. We choose so and neither to teach and gave 10 sample sentences from the lextutor. After that, we ask the students to examine the sample sentences and fill in the blanks of the rule sentences related to the so and neither subject. Finally, they will practice the subject with 2 different activities.
